WHO'S IN CHARGE OF YOUR RESERVATIONS?

Now, I know that many of you sometimes wonder if I ever get challenged in life and how I handle life when it happens. There's a story I'd like to share with you this month to help answer that question.

A couple of weeks ago when I was traveling to speak I won $10,000 in the Massachusetts state lottery!!! WHOOO HOOOO!!!!

Thanks goes to my aunt, out there for a quick visit with me, who had the inspired idea to buy some tickets and to the man at the gas station who told us where to buy them. Actually, when we asked him for a suggestion, he asked US if we were feeling lucky.

Oddly enough, it reminded me of the California travel commercial that's running on television lately with Clint Eastwood asking the same question. In any case, we both looked at each other, sort of giggled and said YES! Five minutes later we were celebrating with joy!

But that's only part of the story.

The week before that I headed to LAX airport on a Thursday morning to set out on my first class trip that had been ticketed for more than 5 weeks. When I arrived at the airport, the man who was checking my luggage said we had a problem - I had been ticketed to leave on Wednesday instead and, as a result, my entire itinerary of travel for a week and a half was canceled!

Thank goodness I know how to manifest! As he took me to the ticketing agent who carefully explained to me that there were no first class seats available on my flight and then to the woman on the phone who told me it would be impossible to recreate my travel plans, I held firm in the certainty and knowing of what I chose to experience.

Maybe you've heard me speak before about the line I love to hear: "Lady, nobody in LA is going to be able to..." when I simply get really excited because I know my good is about to be delivered.

In this case, the woman on the phone was telling me all the seemingly logical reasons that I would not be able to have my flights: there was only 45 minutes before my flight left for Boston, someone else had already taken my seat, there were no first class tickets available for that flight let alone for the rest of my travel, etc.

My response to her was simple and clear. I said, "We have three people here (the man, her, and me) with the intention that I have this travel plan and that it be in first class. We can make it happen. Let's just see what you can do!"

Sure enough, she came back on the phone a few minutes later with my itinerary reinstated with only two minor changes! On top of it all, I made my flight in perfect timing!

Now, to follow up on that story, one of the changes was that I was taking a later flight out of Boston the day after I scratched off the $10,000 winner. Though I didn't recognize it at the time, this change was exactly what was necessary to allow me to go to the lottery office the next morning with ease and joy to pick up the $10,000 winnings (which I've split with my aunt so we can both prosper!)!

How FUN is that???

So, as you move forward in the days and weeks to come, remember that the Universe is friendly to your plans, that it has an incredible sense of humor that we may not appreciate in the moment, and that standing clear in our focus and vision the Universe moves mountains for us. Or, at the very least, flight reservations.

Tell yourself often that life is good, really, really good. Set your intentions. Invite other people to support you and hold your vision.

Know that you are a powerful co-creator in the Universe. Trust it. Affirm it. Believe it. Act as if it is true every second and every moment of every day.
