MOVING INTO THE
NEW
Challenging on many levels, 2009 has been
an "11" year, a year of mastery and a time for us to step into our power to
finally let go of the old ways that are falling apart to make space for us to
begin to create the new paradigm that will be our heaven on Earth.
Two
years or more longer than what we originally expected, everything has now been
put into place and our time, YOUR time, is NOW!
As we move into the
holidays and celebrations, this year may feel different in many ways. You may
feel the desire for rest, renewal and rejuvenation. Honor yourself if you feel
that desire. You have just come through a sort of passage and it is time to
prepare for a very dynamic and bountiful 2010!
I encourage you to make
the choice each day for love, health, peace, prosperity, gratitude and joy. I
encourage you to practice these principles in every moment of your life.
I encourage you to set your intentions for 2010, to prepare
consciously for what you choose in the New Year. (The last article here will be
helpful!)
I invite you to indulge yourself in all the pleasures that
make your heart sing (yes, most importantly the very simple ones of smiling,
being alive, hugging, connecting with friends and family).
As you give
yourself the gift of a holiday retreat, a chance to review and renew and
reinvigorate and perhaps even reinvent, I invite you to indulge yourself with

WHAT ARE YOUR
INTENTIONS???
Have you set your intentions for 2010? Are
you really clear, definite, and specific about what you choose to create in the
New Year ahead?
We all know the power of intention, writing things down
on paper, sharing your vision to spark the creation with group energy, and the
power of focus. Now is the time to use these powers to work with you and for
you in the coming months.
Here's a technique that works. First, write
out your intentions for the New Year by imagining yourself in December 2010
reflecting on the year that's gone by. Write down all the wonderful,
prosperous, successful, joyful, loving things that have happened for you.
Vision this fully and completely with all of your senses, and become really
grateful for everything you know you are about to receive, as if it has already
taken place.
Capitalize on the power of the group by sharing your
intentions with others. It's often good to share your intentions that you've
written down to see if anyone can suggest a way to make them more powerful and
clear. This is not a time to be ambiguous - this is your time to choose with
great confidence and joy!
Then, have each person share their intentions
by speaking out loud or guiding the group through a vision. Remember to always
speak or vision as if you have already received what you desire. It is also
very powerful to acknowledge your gratitude by speaking the words "I am so very
grateful that I have …." to begin setting your intentions.
You may
choose to put your written intentions into an envelope marked "Open January 1,
2011". What fun it is to see how far you've come and to celebrate your
successes!
You may also choose to become very clear, definite, and
specific by setting your intentions for each month during the year, either by
area of focus or mark of success.
Whatever you do, this is the time to
do it.
It's my practice, also, to review the year that's just passing
so that I learn the lessons that I needed to and leave all the rest behind.
Giving gratitude for the gifts those experiences have given me, I make
a list of all those things I am choosing to leave behind in 2009. I write them
out and burn them in the fireplace. (This is a fabulous group experience as
well if you enjoy ceremonies!)
Following the release of the "old", I
write out a list of things I choose to bring in to the New Year to support me
in realizing my dreams.
Give yourself this gift this year to
consciously create the life you love to live!
