ARE YOU LIVING YOUR DREAM?

By now you've probably all heard the name and seen the almost instant fame.

Susan Boyle.

An amazing singer that blew away the Britain's Got Talent (BGT) show on April 11th. 100 million + views of the youtube video of her performance. An unemployed unmarried 47-year-old with bushy eyebrows, unkempt hair and a rather frumpy appearance who is being embraced and celebrated worldwide. A woman who, at first, said she'd never been kissed.

This is a fantastic story filled with images that may seem familiar. You might remember the dentally challenged mobile phone salesman Paul Potts who was two weeks away from bankruptcy before he became the BGT winner and a worldwide sensation in 2007. His first album One Chance sold more than 3.5 million copies. In 2008, he sang at more than 100 sold out concerts around the world. His second album Passione has just been released.

And so we have right in front of us reminders that we are more powerful than we ever imagined. We can allow ourselves to remember the importance of our thoughts, our focus, our intentions, our desires and what we give emotional energy to.

Our thoughts lead to our emotions, our emotions lead to our actions and our actions lead to the results we see reflected in the world around us.

Desire + Emotion = Creation.

Anything is possible. One moment in time can change your life forever. Passions can be expressed and realized, Dreams can be full and fulfilled. There are limitless, endless possibilities that can be birthed from your imagination. Together we can celebrate the victory of overcoming seemingly impossible limitations that are based on only visual outward perceptions, ignoring the truth of the great wealth of talents and gifts that lie hidden within.

To borrow the mantra of Harry Potter author JK Rowling, you too can experience "instant fame and fortune".

On a practical level, Susan and Paul are dramatic demonstrations of conscious creation in action that have great wisdom to share with us all.

If they can do it, you can do it. If their dreams can come true over night, so can yours. This is the time to stand strong in faith, believing, certainty, confidence, knowing.

So, my question is: Are you living your dream?

If you're ready to, here are some keys:

Release the illusions of lack and limitation. Nothing besides your thought habits, absolutely nothing, can hold you back from your great destiny. Your desires are inspired for you.

Stop judging yourself and others. Let go of labels, preconceptions, limiting beliefs and any idea that you are not perfect just the way you are. Forgive yourself for ever even thinking that you were less.

Open your mind, heart, spirit and imagination to the vast, limitless possibilities for life and living.

Sing your song. Know what you're passionate about, what brings you great joy, and go for it. Live it.

Choose. Become clear, definite and specific about what you desire. Then, ask for it.

Visualize as you mentally rehearse living your great dream. Your mind thinks in stories and as you run the mental movie of the life you love to live, you are actively participating in bringing your destiny into reality.

Which brings me to another story. In the 2006 movie Last Holiday, Queen latifah played the starring role and a central theme revolved around the My Book of Possibilities album she had created. Filled with pictures, words and brochures of things she chose to be, have or do, she activated the creative forces of the Universe in her life with vivid images of her heart's deepest desires. At the end of the movie, the title of the book is changed to My Book of Realities.

Create your Book of Possibilities or your Vision Map. Stay open to receiving this or something even better.

In one particularly defining moment in the movie, she is standing in front of a mirror and says, "Next time around we'll laugh more, love more, soar. We just won't be so afraid".
