CHOICES AND ILLUSIONS

Last week I was being interviewed and the statement came up that we can know what we have been focusing on based on the reality we see reflected in the world around us.

Now, in my experience the answer isn't always so obvious and apparent. Let me share a couple of stories with you to make the point clear.

A couple of weeks ago I was speaking with a woman who is highly spiritual, having dedicated most of her life to being of service to others and being connected to Source or Spirit. She was horrified to tell me that everything in her life had fallen apart in the last year and a half. Her health, her wealth, her career, her relationship all seemingly gone. She was pissed off and feeling pissed on.

As we spoke and took a deeper dive into her situation, it turns out that she had been asking to have the full human experience so that she could be of greater service in the world. Well, guess what? The Universe delivered exactly what she had been asking for.

There's also the idea here that sometimes, maybe many times, we quit before the miracles happen. We get stuck in the illusions instead of seeing the perfection of Life.

Several years ago in the middle of December, I was getting ready to go on holiday until the first of the year. I had just completed one of my Manifesting Made Easy workshops and had a full group signed up for the one starting in January.

When I called the new group on December 15th to confirm, all but one person had to cancel for one reason or another. Expecting to have everything and everyone in order so I could enjoy my vacation, here's how I responded immediately.

I KNEW, with absolute certainty, that the group coming together in January was going to be incredible! I KNEW, for some unknown reason, that everyone who had signed up before and cancelled at the last minute was simply holding the space for the right person to come in! I KNEW that I was in for a very exciting experience!

To make a long story short, the night before the workshop began I received a call from a woman who said she and her friend would be joining. Forget that she called on my business line and I never pick up that line on a Sunday evening. My group was complete. Everything came together perfectly and, in fact, the entire group blew me away with their brilliance and manifesting demonstrations.

And the Universe has a sense of humor. Another woman called the next day to join and I had to tell her the group was full. Yet another woman, who I'd never spoken to, actually drove to the workshop and announced that she was going to be joining us! Abundance, ease, joy, flow and amusement on top of it all.

Now, the truth is I could have made a different choice. I could have chosen to believe that I needed to cancel the group and take two months off. I could have chosen to feel disappointed or angry or frustrated. It just didn't happen that way.

Everything was perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Through these times that may feel full of turmoil, challenge and change, it's essential to remember who we are and that in any moment of time it is our right and responsibility to choose. It is our privilege to be able to see beyond the illusions and focus our intentions on what we desire to co-create in the world. We are being catapulted into a new era and the speed is accelerating.
